School of Distinction Award
Parkway 6th grade and Ephrata Middle School 7th-8th grade received the 2011 School of Distinction Award in Reading and Mathematics. Ephrata’s grade band of 6th-8th grade was recognized as one of 22 highest improving middle schools across Washington State that significantly improved student achievement in reading and math over the last five years. We are very proud of our students and staff!
About Parkway
Parkway School is an intermediate level school with 5th and 6th grade students. The average enrollment is 330 students. The fifth grade schedule includes a block of reading/writing/social studies, a block of math/science, and PE/Choir. The sixth grade schedule includes a block of reading/writing, a 90 minute block of Math, Science, Social Studies/Physical Education and Rotation. 6th grade rotations may include Band, Choir, Keyboarding, Art, and Study Hall
